I feel like I am not living. I’m running away from myself and everyone and everything. I need help. But it's scary to begin to think about that. I feel like I’m always going to be complacent, never going to change my circumstances, never going to really be alive, and never going to be my fullest self. It feels like there is something lodged deep within me, and to begin trending the path towards that thing makes my heart pound in nervousness — it's almost unbearable. But if I am delaying it, then I am delaying me.

he said:
I fear the dark.

she said:
Then you have not yet traversed the night within you.

he said:
And what is the night within me?

she said:
An eclipse, behind which awaits a light that outshines the day.

he said:
I have never encountered light within darkness.

she said:
Then you are in desperate need of remembrance.

he said:
How will I possibly come to remember under a veil that shrouds my senses?

she said:
With a much greater sense.

he said:
I am illiterate in all that you speak of.

she said:
Its stamp is your distinction, and that of all things.

he said:
It can not be, for I am filled with voids of uncertainties.

she said:
Then you have plenty of room for certainty.

he said:
My only certainty is the chaos of losing myself, again and again.

she said:
Chaos is simply a higher level of order you have yet to infer.

he said:
I want out of this darkness, not to plunge deeper into it.

she said:
Would you settle for a glimpse of a fading light over the moon itself?

he said:
I do not want to go any further.

she said:
Then you will never find what you seek.

he said:
What am I seeking?

he said:
It is seeking you.

he said:
How will I know?

she said:
It will glisten of obsidian.

So traverse your night. And voyage that way. Tread the path of your fear with a gate of lofty aspirations, the torch of hope, and the eyes of assuredness. Cast yourself into the deepest darkness to find the brightest of lights. Go now. Embark! Until the constellations accept your sacrifice, showing you a reflection of the mountainous past, and a riveting future. Find anchorage in what this all leads to.

Find anchorage in
Something Greater.
